Skydive Qatar organisers have announced extension of their planned operations due to popular demand.
The public can now experience the tandem jump all weeklong except on Sundays. Operations start at 8:30am and conclude at 6pm daily.
"We are very happy to be operating six days a week now instead of our initially planned four days only. Tandem jumps are very popular around the world for armatures and we are pleased with the public response in Qatar," said Mohamed AbdAllah, deputy CEO of Skydive Qatar.
Tandem jumps for amateurs and certified jumps began earlier on May 3 and now Skydive Qatar centre in Qatar has added Canopy Course for previously certified Skydivers to obtain their UPSA (B-Licence).
"The centre also allows the opportunity for students that are working towards their USPA (A-Licence) to complete their minimum required 25 jumps for this grade of certification. Our on ground crew also offers coached jumps to improve the technique of the dives,"" AbdAllah added.
The centre runs on a daily capacity of 100 tandem jumps and 180 certified jumps per day, and is expected to last until May 31 before it closes down for the hot summer months.
Tickets are available online at http://Skydiveqatar.com/, Virgin Mega Stores, Qtickets & Novo Cinema at The Pearl. For Certified Skydivers who would like to take advantage of this event to fulfill their passion for air sports, different packages apply based on their requirements.
"We invite everyone to Al Khor Airport, the new home for Skydive Qatar, to watch and explore this sport that we are sure will witness rapid growth among all residents of Qatar in the very near future," Abdallah said.
