Al Rayyan International University College in partnership with the University of Derby organised and hosted a Dean’s List recognition ceremony to celebrate the outstanding academic achievements of its undergraduate students.

The ceremony was held on ARIU’s new campus in West Bay and was attended by students, faculty, and staff of the university. A total of 18 undergraduate students from International Business Management, International Hospitality Management, and International Tourism Management were recognised in the ceremony and secured a spot on the Dean’s List.

The awardees on the 2022/2023 spring semester Dean’s List are:International Business Management Programme:Abdulla Saad A A Al-Mesned, Asif Shah Ahmed, Daneh Afghan Zehi Jaski, Esam Abdelmoneim Ahmed Mohamed, Essam Azaghdani, Ghanim Khalid I B Al-Sulaiti, Hassan Yasser Mohamed Abdelfatah, Mariam Ashraf Mahmoud Ali Mansour, Mariam Mohammed Malek, Mawadda Isameldin Abdelbagi Mohamed, Saima Zakir Bhuiya, Saiqa Farheen, Sana Ahmed and Sublah Hassan

International Hospitality Management Programme: Aisha Shakeel Ahmed, Anuja Srivastava, and Mohammed Sultan M A Al- Rawashda

International Tourism Management Programme: Jan Berend Hoogendoorn

In his address, Prof. Ivan Ninov, executive dean of ARIU in partnership with the University of Derby, congratulated the Dean’s List students. “Today we celebrate the achievements of our students who have demonstrated exceptional dedication, discipline, and excellence in their studies. Their outstanding accomplishment would not have been possible without the active help and involvement of our highly qualified and dedicated faculty members. One of our main strengths as a university has always been the family-like atmosphere that we have developed over the years, in which our students are not just numbers, and in which each student is perceived as an important member of our family and is always able to receive personalised care and support”, he said.

The university also recognised the most engaged students who have been actively involved in different university-related activities and has helped the university achieve its vision and mission. A total of 30 students received certificates of appreciation.
