NIARC Qatar Chapter (NIARC) and Moodadi Panchayat Pravasi Association Qatar (MPPAQ) jointly organised a free medical camp in collaboration with Reyada Medical Centre at its C Ring branch on Friday.
Around 200 people attended the camp and utilised the free services. A health awareness class was also held as part of the camp. Dr. Manjunath delivered a talk on ‘Lifestyle diseases and how to control them’, which the participants found very informative.
Manikandan (ICC president), Shanavas Bava (ICBF president), Abdul Rehman E P (ISC President), former ICBF general secretary Sabit Shaheer, KK Usman, Fuwad Usman and Ghafoor Calicut were among those who visited the camp.
MPPAQ, Ashraf KP (chairman of NIARC global chapter) was the patron of the camp and Jamsheer (MD of Reyada) led it. Sihas Babu (president MPPAQ), Shaji Peeves (general secretary MPPAQ), Thaha Hamza (chairman NIARC) and Shanahas Edodi (general secretary NIARC) controlled the activities.
Mustafa Eenam, Shahjahar, Basheer VP, Najeeb EK, Siraj Palur, Ahmed Moodadi, Raziq K V, Shihas UK, Tariq EK, Ismail NK besides woman activists Zeenath Ashraf, Shamseena Shanahas, Munira Sihas, Nasila Najeeb and Shaheera Ismail volunteered for the camp. Calicut Notebook and Radio 98.6 FM played a major role in the success of the camp.
