Focus International Rayyan Division emerged the overall champions in the Sports Focus 2023 competitions organised by the leading youth organisation in Qatar, Focus International Qatar Region. The event was organised on the occasion of Qatar National Sport Day.
Many youths participated in the competitions held between six divisions namely Al Wakrah, Hilal, Al Sadd, Doha, Rayyan and Madinah Khalifa. Focus International Qatar Region CEO Harris PT inaugurated the various events which was held at Cambridge School in Mammura, Shantiniketan School, Legends Ground in Wukair and Focus Villa in Tumama.
Qatar’s excellent facilities in encouraging physical and mental resilience in its youth are highly admirable, CEO Harris PT said that. Every expatriate obligated a lot to this country, which provides an opportunity to actively participate in various sports, educational and cultural projects. Mental health is as important as physical health. He added that every expatriate should take care to maintain health through diligent exercise and diet.
Various competitions like football, volleyball, cricket, arm wrestling, table tennis, caroms, badminton and chess were organised in different places in Qatar. Rayyan division won the best points position and became the champions, while Hilal division won the first runner up and Wakrah division won the second runner up.
Sports Manager Anees Haneef Mahi, Deputy Sports Manager Mohammad Sadeed, Midlaj Laheef, Fahzir Rahman, Rafeeq Karat, Dr. Razeel Moiteen and Ashiq Beypoor led the events under the leadership of Focus International Qatar Region Events Manager Moiteen Shah. COO Ameer Shaji, CFO Safeerussalam, Admin Manager Ameenurahman, Faiz Elayodan, Rashiq Bakar, Yusuf bin Muhammad and Salil Rayyan moderated the event. Prize distribution of sports competitions was conducted at Focus Villa, Thumama through a grand members gathering.
