His Highness the Amir of State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has sent a written message to President of the Republic of Angola Joao Lourenco. The message pertains to bilateral relations and the means of supporting and developing them.
Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs HE Dr Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Salih Al Khulaifi handed over the message during a meeting with HE President of Angola on Monday in Luanda.
At the outset of the meeting, the Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs conveyed the greetings of HH the Amir to President of Angola, and His Highness' wishes to the people of Angola of further progress and prosperity.
In turn, the President of Angola entrusted the Assistant Foreign Minister for Regional Affairs to convey his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing His Highness good health and happiness and the Qatari people continued development and prosperity.
During the meeting, they discussed the bilateral relations between the two countries and the international efforts to achieve security and peace in the region.
