The Katara Cultural Village announced that the 3rd Katara International Exhibition for Kahraman will be held from February 10 to 13, 2023.

Several Arab and foreign countries, international associations and bodies specialised in amber, will take part. There will be 75 pavilions and exhibit platforms.

General Manager of Katara Cultural Village, Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti said that the Katara International Exhibition for Kahraman has become a favourite destination for amber traders from all over the world including global productive companies. This promotes Qatar’s position as a global destination for amber trading and acquisition, in addition to establishing the exhibition as an ideal global platform for promoting and updating this industry.

Al Sulaiti emphasised that the festival returns in its 3rd edition with the same strength as in its first edition in January 2019, after it was suspended for two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He pointed out that Katara has allocated a permanent headquarters for amber and organises training workshops under the supervision of international experts. A laboratory for quality examination was established to examine everything related to quality, in cooperation and coordination with international institutions specialised in amber.

Director of Katara International Exhibition for Kahraman, Khalid Abdulrahim Al Sayed, said that the exhibition witnesses participation from countries well-known for producing amber, or interested in its trade. These countries, include Poland, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Turkey, and Arab countries, in addition to a large number of merchants and interested parties from inside and outside Qatar.
