Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani attended the graduation ceremony of 11th batch of the Community College of Qatar (CCQ) students (Class of 2022).

The PM honoured the outstanding graduates, while CCQ’s President Dr Khalid Mohamed Al Horr presented the certificates to the 929 graduates of various disciplines.

Held at Lusail Sport Hall, the ceremony was attended by Speaker of the Shura Council HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim and a number of sheikhs and ministers, academic and administrative staff, and parents of graduates.

The ceremony featured the graduation of the first class of the Bachelor of Science in Logistics and Supply Chain Management numbering 86 students; the first class of the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology, 11 students; and the first class of the Associate of Arts in Business Administration, 41 students.

In his speech during the ceremony, Dr Khalid Al Horr congratulated the graduates, expressing his pride in this achievement.

He also shed light on the efforts made by CCQ during the past year, including the evaluation of its 20 academic programs that were designed according to the needs of the labor market, in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Moreover, CCQ conducted a comparative study with a number of regional and international colleges, as part of its continuous efforts to promote high academic standards and high-quality programs.

Dr Al Horr stressed that CCQ had spared no effort to enhance its academic and student services, and provide a stimulating learning environment.
