With an objective to foster good relationship between parents and students in view of the approaching Board examinations, the MES Indian School organised an orientation programme titled ‘Positive Parenting’ for the parents of students Grades XII and X recently. MES Principal Hameeda Kadar led the programme.
Hameeda Kadar delivered an engaging session by briefly introducing the meaning of positive parenting and provided tips to handle the pressure faced by children during the examinations. Parents were also urged to spend ample quality time at home with their children. Topics such as Tips for the board exams, Stress-free parenting, Extending constant support, Digital use monitoring, Self-balance, Positive attention, and Role modelling for children were discussed during the session with real-life examples.
The parents found the interactive session extremely fruitful and helpful. The school officials and class teachers also attended the programme.
