GCC residents can enter Qatar without Hayya Card or World Cup ticket from Tuesday

Citizens and residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries can enter Qatar without Hayya Card for non-ticket holders as of Tuesday (December 6, 2022), the Ministry of Interior has announced.

GCC residents coming through Qatar's Bu Samra border crossing will have to park their vehicles at the border and use a bus for travel inside Qatar. They will be able to drive in with their private vehicles from December 8, after applying for an entry permit on the Ministry of Interior website 12 hours before the travel date, without the condition of paying the prior entry permit fees for vehicles.
