In the Security Operations Center for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the work of the security "monitoring" program began, which is organized over a period of five days by the Security and Safety Operations Committee (SSOC) of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, in cooperation with the organizers of the tournament and the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) project (Stadia).

The program comes within the framework of the Committee's international cooperation strategy with the countries that will host the 2026 World Cup (Canada, Mexico, and the United States of America), with the aim of transferring Qatari expertise in securing the World Cup, and informing the participants of the security preparations made by the State of Qatar, and the most prominent security strategies used in the tournament.

The Executive Director of the Office of the Chairman of the Security and Safety Operations Committee of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Head of the Planning and Follow-up Unit of the Committee, Lieutenant Colonel Ali Muhammad Al-Ali presented the stages of security preparations to secure the World Cup, starting with the decision to form the committee and its units and the terms of reference of each unit, and planning for the implementation of the tasks assigned to it and the subsequent procedures.

He also reviewed the mechanism and procedures for the work of the security teams responsible for securing the tournament, the training, equipment and courses that were carried out during the previous years, and the most prominent projects and security scenarios that were implemented, as well as the coordination mechanisms between the security authorities and other related topics.
