The General Administration for Drug Control of Qatar's Ministry of Interior has arrested three men on charges of trading prohibited narcotic substances.
The ministry said 29 kilograms of hashish and 10.2 kilograms of methamphetamine were seized from them and described them as of "Asian nationality".
In a series of tweets posted on Tuesday, the ministry said a tip off that led to the arrests.
The Drug Control Administration formed a search and investigation team to verify the tip.
After it has been found to be true, the team drew up a plan, obtained the necessary warrants from the Public Prosecution and conducted the raid.
The accused has been referred to competent authorities for further action.
