President of Uruguay Yamandu Orsi met with Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi in Montevideo on Thursday.
At the outset of the meeting, HE Al Khulaifi conveyed the greetings of the Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to the president of Uruguay, wishing him good health and happiness, and continued progress and prosperity for the people of Uruguay.
The president entrusted the minister of state at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs with his greetings to HH the Amir, wishing him good health and happiness, and the people of Qatar further progress and prosperity.
The meeting discussed relations between the two countries, along with ways to support them. It also discussed a number of topics of common interest.
