The State of Qatar has categorically rejected Israeli statements on the annexation of areas in southern Lebanon and areas extending to the ‘Yellow Line’ in the Gaza Strip, describing them as a blatant challenge to international law and resolutions of international legitimacy.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs urged the international community to shoulder its responsibilities and compel the Israeli occupation government to halt expansionist plans and settlement policy in the occupied Palestinian territories.
The ministry reiterated Qatar’s steadfast position in support of the Palestinian cause and the resilience of the fraternal Palestinian people, based on ending the occupation and enabling the Palestinian people to attain their legitimate rights. (QNA)
