DOHA: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, represented by the Marine Protection Department, has reported the deaths of five sea turtles in the open sea off the coast of Al Wakrah during routine marine monitoring and patrol operations.
The Al Wakrah Marine Unit has begun handling the incident and taking the necessary measures.
The ministry said it continues to intensify its efforts to protect marine life and safeguard Qatar’s marine environment and biodiversity.
