Minister of State for International Cooperation HE Dr. Maryam bint Ali bin Nasser Al Misnad chaired the consultative sessions on the National Human Rights Action Plan 2026-2030 organised by the committee designated to prepare the National Human Rights Action Plan, on Sunday.
The consultative session hosted Speaker of the Shura Council HE Hassan bin Abdullah Al Ghanim. During the session, several topics related to the Shura Council’s specialisations and competencies were discussed, in addition to proposals and guidelines that support the preparation of the plan in a way that enhances its alignment with national policies and legislation.
At the end of the session, the importance of the National Human Rights Action Plan was emphasised as a national framework that promotes the protection of human rights.
