The first Qatari plane carrying a shipment of aid arrived in the city of Khost in Afghanistan on Saturday. The shipment was presented by Qatar Charity, in cooperation with partner parties and in coordination with the Qatar Fund for Development, to support the Afghan people as part of an urgent relief campaign to support the earthquake victims. The shipment contained 13 tonnes of aid. This aid comes within the framework of the efforts of Qatar and its firm commitment to provide support for and stand by the Afghan people, and to provide them with urgent and necessary needs. (QNA)
