The Project Qatar and Hospitality Qatar 2022 exhibition is an important platform for establishing new investment partnerships with major international companies specialized in these fields, said Haidar Mshaimesh, General Manager of IFP Qatar.
It also contributes to encouraging investors and businessmen to explore the promising prospects and investment opportunities available within the Qatari hospitality sector, and to contribute to the development of their businesses and expansion into regional and global markets, he added.
“The return of this event shows the importance it represents for international companies, pointing out that this year’s session has a special importance, as it allows manufacturers and suppliers to reconnect their business with the Qatari market.
“Over the years, project Qatar, Hospitality Qatar have expanded their presence and activities to meet the growing demands of the sector at the local and international levels. The days of the exhibition include conferences, training programs and competitions specialized in the field of industry, engineering, hospitality, hotels, restaurants, and cafes, in addition to a business matchmaking program at the corporate level for the most prominent players in the field in order to market their products and services to buyers, potential investors and business owners.”
The first day, he said, began with the “Countdown Begins” conference, where the multi-themed conference focused on the industrial projects in Qatar, tourism, hospitality and food and beverage sectors and served as a platform for the most prominent players in the field and policy makers to exchange new ideas and discuss the latest developments in the those sectors.
“The current edition of Project Qatar, Hospitality Qatar enjoys the participation of a bigger number of participants than the previous edition, which reflects the recovery of the industry and hospitality sectors.
“Three hundred entities are participating in the current edition, including 120 Qatari companies, indicating a strong presence of Qatari manufacturers that confirm the growth of national production and that makes Qatar play a major industrial role, a fulcrum for success through its increasing growth.”
Mshaimesh said 180 international companies representing various countries are participating in the exhibition. The most important of them are represented in the Turkish and Italian pavilions with more than 30 companies participating under their umbrellas, he said, adding that Iran and India have official pavilions as well.
