The Marine Protection Department has seized and confiscated nylon fishing nets near Al-Dhakira Reserve, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC) said on Monday.
"We remind everyone to abide by the laws and not use illegal fishing nets or fish in prohibited areas for the safety of our wildlife and the environment," it added.
