The General Authority of Customs will today (Wednesday), launch its new visual identity, which includes replacing the official logo of the authority with a new modern logo to suit the future stage of the Customs journey. The choice to launch the logo on this day comes as of commemoration of the World Customs Day, which customs administrations around the world celebrate on its international day on January 26 each year, when they honour their distinguished employees and partners from the government and private sectors, under a special slogan for each year announced by the World Customs Organization.
This year’s slogan is titled ‘A work environment for customs data based on trust’.
This year’s World Customs Day is the 17th anniversary of the founding of the Customs Cooperation Council, which is now called the World Customs Organization, and whose first meeting was on the same day, January 26, 1952. This organisation includes more than 180 customs administrations from various countries.
