Qatar Chamber First Vice-Chairman Mohamed bin Twar Al Kuwari has met on Monday with a German delegation representing the German Near and Middle East Association (NUMOV) headed by CEO of the KSG Security and Defense Agency Dr Frank Duchardt.
The meeting deliberated upon cooperation relations between both sides in various sectors, such as cyber security, travel and tourism and others.
On his part, Kuwari praised the close relations between Qatar and Germany in all fields, especially the commercial and economic aspects.
For his part, Duchardt paid tribute to the renaissance witnessed by Qatar in all areas, particularly in the infrastructure and preparations of the host of the World Cup 2022.
He said that during the past five years the NUMOV organised five trading delegations to Qatar to learn about the investment opportunities available here and promote the investment opportunities available in Germany before Qatari investors.
It is worth mentioning that NUMOV is Germany’s oldest and largest organisation that promotes economic development between Germany and the countries of the Near and Middle East.
It was founded in 1934 to represent the trade and investment interests of the German economy in the countries of this region.
The association organises seminars, conferences and delegations and provides its member companies with up to date and relevant information about business opportunities.
