The Iraqi oil ministry said on Saturday that the oil revenues for September reached about $ 9 billion. According to the preliminary statistics issued by the State Organization for Marketing of Oil (SOMO), the ministry stated that the total amount of crude oil exports amounted to 98,765,153 barrels, with revenues of $ 8.773 billion. It explained that the average daily quantities amounted to 3,292,000 barrels per day, pointing out that the average price was $88.83 per barrel.

Meanwhile, Iraq’s central bank expects its cash reserves to reach $90 billion by the end of 2022. “The rise in the central bank’s reserves comes as a result of increasing global oil prices,” Deputy Director of the bank, Ammar Khalaf told Iraqi state media, adding that they expect the bank’s reserves to reach $90 billion at the end of the year.(Agencies)
