Minister of Transport HE Jassim Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti held separate meetings with Niger’s Minister of Transportation Oumarou Malam Alma, Ethiopia’s Minister of Transport Dagmawit Moges, and Uganda’s Minister of Works and Transport Katumba Wamala, on the sidelines of Qatar’s participation in the 41st Session of the ICAO Assembly in Montreal, Canada.
The minister also met with Zimbabwean Minister of Transport and Infrastructural Development Felix Tapiwa Mhona and President of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Oman Eng. Naif Ali Al Abri.
During the meetings, they reviewed Qatar’s relations with each of the countries and he ways to enhance them in the fields of transportation and aviation services.
They also discussed the latest developments on civil aviation industry and exchanged views on matters of common interest.
International Organizations Department Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Ambassador Ali bin Khalfan Al Mansouri attended the meetings.
