The registration for the annual winter camping season for the year 2022-2023 will open on October 16 and will continue until October 27 for all regions, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) has announced.
The registration will be completed in three phases. While the registration for the southern regions (Sealine and Khor Al Adaid) will be from Oct 16 to 19, the registration for the central regions will be from Oct 20 to 23. For the northern regions, the registration will be from Oct 24 to 27. The ministry said the registration will be through the official website of MoECC and the Ministry of Municipality or through the “Aoun” application for smart phones, provided that the fees are paid within three days from the date of approval of the application electronically.
The ministry said the camping season will start in the northern and central regions on November 1 and it will continue until April 1, 2023.
The ministry decided to postpone camping in the southern regions (Sealine and Khor Al Adaid) until December 20. The camping period will be extended until May 20, 2023. (TNN)
