Telangana Praja Samithi-Qatar (TPS-Qatar), associated to the Indian Cultural Center under the aegis of the embassy of India, successfully conducted the nomination process for selection of the managing committee for 2021-2022.
Bhoomaiah Gadde Srinivas was unanimously elected as president of TPS. The other office bearers are: Namala Surendhar (vice-president); Potta Venkatesh Goud (general secretary); Venu Padakanti (joint secretary); Venu Prasad (treasurer); Dharmaraju Panchita (cultural secretary); Sruthi Upendar (joint cultural secretary); Abdul Mateen (Membership & Media Secretary); Ramesh Donakanti (associate membership secretary); Edula Srinivas (logistics secretary) and Manda Laxman (social welfare secretary).
Telangana Praja Samithi has a strong presence in India and the Middle East. TPS endeavours to help its members and non-members in every possible way for their uplift and to preserve the culture of Telangana.Syed Rafi, director of Channel 5, wished Gadde Srinivas all the best in his new position as the president of TPS. He expressed faith and trust in Srinivas in leading the organisation.
Speaking after being unanimously selected as president, Srinivas thanked all the members for their support and trust in him and assured of doing everything possible to make TPS Qatar a well-known community organisation.
The positions were allocated to the office bearers based on their background and experience in various organisational positions.
