McNair Chambers LLC and the Italian Embassy in Qatar will jointly host a webinar on “Doing Business in Italy” for the benefit of the business community in Qatar and in the GCC region on Wednesday (June 9). The webinar will feature leading lawyers from Italy who will discuss, and will be available to answer questions on important aspects of Italy’s legal investment regime.
The workshop will be introduced by HE Alessandro Prunas, the Italian Ambassador to Qatar, and by Dr. Stefano Nigro, Director of the Department for Investment Attraction at the Italian Trade Agency. Professor Guido Alpa, Faculty of Law, University of Rome La Sapienza, will talk about arbitration law and practice; Francesca Ricci, Partner at Ughi e Nunziante law firm, will deliver a presentation on real estate investments in Italy; Giuseppe Barreca, Partner at Barreca & Partners law firm, will present highlights on labour law and taxation in Italy.
Presenting the upcoming event HE Prunas said, “We are delighted to present together with McNair Chambers this webinar focusing on how to invest in Italy, particularly at a time when Italy’s ambitious post-pandemic recovery plan can boost new business opportunities.
