Ooredoo, Qatar’s leading telecommunications company, will assist the Qatar Red Crescent in its efforts to ensure that everyone has enough food this Ramadan. This contribution is part of the Ooredoo Al Khair campaign launched by the company to commemorate the holy month.
Ooredoo will be the Strategic Communications Partner for the Qatar Red Crescent’s Khairkum Sabeq Festival, in which participants can purchase food boxes for distribution to those in need.
This Ramadan, the Khairkum Sabeq Festival will provide food boxes containing essentials such as flour, sugar, salt, oil, rice, lentils, juices, and more to those in need.
Those interested in participating can get a Ramadan Food Box for QR100 from the QRC website or any participating shopping centre. The boxes containing the necessities will be assembled at the shopping malls. The beneficiary will then receive an SMS from QRC, and delivery will be coordinated through their nearest participating shopping centre.
Sabah Rabiah Al-Kuwari, Director PR at Ooredoo, said: “We’re proud to be working with Qatar Red Crescent on this invaluable initiative this Ramadan, which comes as part of our Ooredoo Al Khair campaign. We all have a duty to take care of the less fortunate in our communities, and the holy month of Ramadan is the perfect time in which we can take practical steps to do so. We commend Qatar Red Crescent on their efforts, and look forward to helping them as they work to ensure everyone has the essentials they need this Ramadan.”
