HEC Paris’ specialised Master’s Degree in Strategic Business Unit Management (SBUM) provides participants with new perspectives, fed from rich interactions between participants and faculty, connecting learners to new ideas and resources.
The participants of SBUM class of 2022 at HEC Paris in Qatar are all set to benefit from the highly accomplished faculty, as well as opportunities to interact with senior business experts who bring a wealth of practical business experience from a wide spectrum of industries.
Qatar Petroleum Sales Officer Mouza Al Baker, one of the participants of the upcoming SBUM programme from Qatar, said, “I am really looking forward to embarking on the Specialised Master’s programme at HEC Paris in Qatar. One of the biggest advantages of enrolling in this programme is that it will allow me a great deal of flexibility to balance studies with my work. Its curriculum will also provide me with the necessary skillset I require to further enhance my business career.”
Noor Al Mannai, another Qatari participant of the upcoming SBUM programme, said, “There are many reasons to choose HEC Paris for doing this programme. I am a designer, so I am sure I will learn very good management skills to understand the fashion market globally.”

Damir Kopbayev, who has been working in the oil and gas sector for the last eleven years, said, “HECParis is one of the best business schools in the world. I am sure, I will get the required management skills to enhance my professional career here.”
Kopbayev, who is from Kazakhstan and currently working with North Oil Company in Doha, said, “Doing 18-month programme in Qatar while doing your job is a great achievement. I am sure this programme will help me in working at a managerial level instead of a technical level.”
Shanthanu Rao, who grew up in Canada and currently working with consultancy company Deloitte in Doha, said, “I always wanted to start my own company. I think SBUM programme is kind of unique in that way as there are so many things that you need to learn from experts to start a company. The great thing about HEC Paris is that it brings people from different fields together and that is a great way to learn from your peers from different sectors.”
