All individuals who have received the COVID-19 vaccine will automatically be issued a vaccination certificate seven days after receiving their second dose in the MyHealth Patient Portal, a web-based portal for electronic medical records.
“Individuals who have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will automatically have a vaccination certificate available for them in MyHealth Patient Portal 7 days after their second dose,” a statement posted on the social media platforms of the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) said.
People who have not registered on the patient portal have been advised to do so at https://myhealth.hamad.qa/home.aspx.
“Individuals who have not yet registered for the patient portal are advised to do so in order to access their certificate. Registration and activation will take approximately 24 hours,” it added.
Once registered, patients can access their medical records from their computer, tablet, or smartphone.
MyHealth portal allows patients to access their key health records, including test results, information about upcoming appointments, view their visit history, and access their preventative care immunization record and prescribed medications.
The platform has the potential to improve patients’ health knowledge, reduce anxiety, and improve communications with their healthcare provider. All patients below 18 years of age should be registered under their parent’s MyHealth account. The innovative platform was launched in 2018.
