Chairman of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza Ambassador HE Mohammed Al Emadi has affirmed that the committee, in cooperation with the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), will begin the process of disbursing cash assistance to families in need in the Gaza Strip on, next Thursday. Al Emadi stated that 100,000 families in the Gaza Strip will benefit from the cash assistance, at the rate of $100 per family.
He said the distribution process will take place through the branches of the Postal Bank in the sector, as part of the preventive measures taken to confront the coronavirus outbreak, in order to preserve the safety of the beneficiaries and ensure their commitment to preventive measures, sanitisation and social distancing.
He said the distribution process will be carried out under the full supervision of the Qatar Committee’s staff in cooperation with the authorities concerned. (QNA)
