Four people were arrested on Sunday for violating home-quarantine conditions imposed as part of efforts to contain the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country. The arrests were made in implementation of the precautionary measures approved by the health authorities represented by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and its supporting bodies to ensure public safety and prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The four people being referred to the competent prosecution are Khalid Abdullah Rashid Al Alsheikh Al Kuwari, Mohammed Abdulkarim Yousef Al Souqi, Helal Fayez Khlaif, and Rakish Komar Farma.
The authorities concerned have called on citizens and residents who are subject to quarantine to fully adhere to the requirements set by the Ministry of Public Health, to ensure their safety and the safety of others.(QNA)
