The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani held a telephone conversation with President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Dr Hassan Rouhani on Saturday. During the phone call, the two leaders discussed bilateral ties and the means to promote them, in addition to major regional and international developments. The Amir also expressed Qatar’s solidarity with Iran which is battling outbreak of novel coronavirus cases. The Amir expressed Qatar’s readiness to provide necessary support to Iran to combat and prevent this virus.
