MONACO: Qatari rider Mohammed Khalifa Al Baker came 2nd in the 145cm Grand Prix class at the Longines Global Champions Tour - Monaco round, in 37.67 seconds, riding Hannah Zoe.
The 1st place, however, went to Russian rider, Kristina Klebanova, who completed the round in 36.19 seconds riding Diamanda 4, whilst the 3rd place was secured by South African rider Nicolo van der Westhuizen who came in 3rd, finishing his round on Stawita Ps in 38.99 seconds.
All three riders received significant monetary prizes: Al Baker earned EUR5,000; Klebanova, EUR6,250; and Van der Westhuizen took home EUR3,750.
A day earlier, Sheikh Ali bin Khalid Al Thani won the 2nd place in the 140cm International Class, riding Marco Monet, while Ghanim Al Qadi secured a strong 3rd place finish in the International Class 140cm at the Longines Global Champions Tour in Monaco, riding Casal des Forets.
