Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim al Thani met with many Kuwaiti businessmen at the venue of the ongoing ‘Made in Qatar’ expo in Kuwait.
The meetings reviewed enhancing cooperation relations between the private sector of both countries and ways of activating businessmen to forge partnerships and alliances and establish joint ventures that enhance economic and commercial cooperation between both parties.
Sheikh Khalifa also met with a delegation from the Kuwait Central Municipality Council (CMC) headed by the its vice president Mohamed bin Hamad al Attan.
Sheikh Khalifa toured the pavilions of the expo alongside with Qatar’s ambassador to Kuwait HE Bandar bin Mohamed al Attiyah as well as Sheikh Hamad bin Faysal al Thani, QC Board Member Khalid bin Klefeekh al Hajri and QC Director General Saleh bin Hamad al Sharqi.
On the sidelines of the expo, Qatar-based Al Ahmadani Medical Company and Kuwait-based Sickness alert Company (a Kuwaiti-Omani company) signed a cooperation agreement to join hands in distributing a medical product produced by the Kuwaiti-Omani company.
Sheikh Khalifa and Qatar ambassador to Kuwait witnessed the signing ceremony. Ibtihaj al Ahmadani signed the agreement with the company’s owner Fahad Mubarak al Khrenj.
Commenting on the singing, Ahmadani said that the expo gave Qatari companies a good opportunity to explore external markets and promote their products abroad.
