KUALA LUMPUR: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore HE Lawrence Wong on the sidelines of the second ASEAN-GCC Summit, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center in Malaysia.
The meeting discussed areas of bilateral cooperation and explored ways to enhance them across various fields. The two sides also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, as well as the topics listed on the Summit agenda.
The meeting was attended by Chief of the Amiri Diwan HE Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Khulaifi, Minister of Commerce and Industry HE Sheikh Faisal bin Thani Al Thani, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs HE Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, and a number of members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Amir.
Attending from the Singaporean side were Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Dr Vivian Balakrishnan, and high-ranking officials.
