The Lawyers Admission Committee, chaired by Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs HE Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi, to address the agenda items, convened on Thursday.
During the meeting, four new lawyers took their legal oaths before the committee.
The committee also considered requests to register a number of similar employers in the registers of practicing lawyers, and approved requests from lawyers who have successfully completed their training periods.
The committee furthermore reviewed several regulatory matters pertaining to the legal profession, including reports from its subcommittees, and issued decisions aimed at enhancing the regulatory framework governing legal practice.
His Excellency extended his congratulations to the new lawyers, underscoring the committee’s dedication to fostering a conducive legal environment that empowers them to fulfil their noble responsibilities in serving the community and advancing Qatar’s legal system.
He also conveyed his best wishes for their success, highlighting the comprehensive training programs developed by the Legal and Judicial Studies Centre at the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), designed to refine their legal skills and equip them to practice the profession with the highest standards of competence and excellence.
