In a remarkable demonstration of community service and collaboration, Billawas Qatar, in partnership with KIMSHEALTH Medical Centre, Qatar, successfully organised a free medical camp at the KIMSHEALTH facility in Meshaf.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with over 200 individuals availing themselves of free consultations, health screenings, and wellness advice provided by expert medical professionals.
The medical camp was inaugurated in the presence of Chief Guest Manikantan AP, President of the Indian Cultural Centre (ICC), who highlighted the importance of regular health checkups and the necessity of adopting a healthy lifestyle. He commended Billawas Qatar and KIMSHEALTH for their proactive efforts in promoting health awareness within the
community.
The program commenced with a warm welcome by Umesh Poojari, General Secretary of Billawas Qatar. This was followed by a keynote address from Aparna Sharath, President of Billawas Qatar, who expressed heartfelt gratitude for the community’s overwhelming support and reiterated the organization’s steadfast commitment to social service and the well-being of the community.
Adding prestige to the occasion, Shanavas Bava, President of the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), and EP Abdul Rahman, President of the Indian Sports Centre (ISC), addressed the gathering. They lauded the initiative and emphasised the vital role of community organizations in fostering a culture of care and responsibility.
Dr. Rahul Munikrishna, representing the management of KIMSHEALTH Medical Centre, expressed his appreciation for the collaboration with Billawas Qatar and affirmed KIMSHEALTH’s ongoing commitment to supporting such health-driven community initiatives.
The camp was graced by the presence of several other distinguished dignitaries and representatives from leading Indian associations in Qatar.
A major highlight of the occasion was the official launch of the new logo of Billawas Qatar, symbolising a fresh vision, renewed energy, and an even stronger commitment to the future.
Bhoomika Raghunath, who served as the master of ceremonies, conducted the program with grace and professionalism, ensuring a smooth and engaging flow of proceedings throughout the event.
