DOHA: The State of Qatar has ranked among the top 3 countries with the lowest crime rates in the world, according to NUMBEO’s 2025 Crime Index.
The National Planning Council announced, via its official account on the X platform, that Qatar ranked among the three countries with the lowest crime rates in the world.
According to the Numbeo Index, Qatar ranked first globally with the lowest crime rate out of the 142 countries listed in the table, with a safety index of 85.2%, followed by the UAE with 84.9%, and Taiwan in third place with 83.8%.
On the Arab level, Qatar also came in first place, followed by the UAE in second place, Oman in third place, Bahrain in fourth place, Saudi Arabia in fifth place, and Kuwait in sixth place.
