The Tamil Community Association, Manithaneya Kalachara Peravai–Qatar (MKP-Qatar) organised a remarkable Social Harmony Iftar 2025 on March 11 at Blue Galaxy Hall, bringing together more than 800 participants, including more than 300 blue-collar workers and members of the MKP community.
The event reflected the spirit of the Holy Month of Ramadan, which emphasises compassion, self-discipline, and the strengthening of family and community bonds.
The event was hosted by Brunitha and Huda, with the presidential speech delivered by Regina Sathik, president of MKP.
The evening was further enriched by the presence of chief guest Sandeep Kumar, deputy chief of mission at the Indian Embassy, and Khalid Abdul Rahman Fakhroo, labour relations specialist from the Ministry of Labour. Both highlighted the importance of sharing and compassion during Ramadan.
The event was also graced by ICBF President Shanavas Bava, ICC President Manikandan, ISC President AP Abdul Rahman, IBPC President Mohamed Taha, Vice President Deepak Shetty, and senior community leaders KS Prasad and Krishana Kumar, along with members of the ICBF, ISC, and ICC management committees.
Also in attendance were former vice president Subramanya Hebbagelu, General Secretary Mohan Kumar from ICBF, Bopan Incas president Hyder, and the newly elected Tamil representatives to apex bodies, including Ravi Prasad, Sathik Batcha, Nirmala, and QTS president Muniyappan.
The evening concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Hussain, general secretary of Manithaneya Kalachara Peravai , who expressed gratitude to the guests, organisers, and participants for making the event a resounding success.
The Social Harmony Iftar 2025 stood as a testament to the power of community spirit and cultural unity during the sacred month of Ramadan.
