Qatar University (QU)’s Community Service and Continuing Education Center, in collaboration with Pioneer Training Center, celebrated the graduation of the second batch of professional diploma students who successfully completed their programme requirements.
The ceremony, held at the College of Education at QU, honoured a total of 228 graduates.
The event was attended by Dr Rajab Al Ismail, director of the Community Service and Continuing Education Center at QU; Noor Mohammed Al Mansoori, CEO of Pioneer Training Center; representatives from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education; key figures from the private sector; and students’ families.
As part of the ceremony, a documentary was screened, highlighting the students’ learning journey, their final project presentations, and the essential skills they acquired to embark on their professional careers.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Ismail said, “Professional diplomas have become a cornerstone of educational and training programmes, playing a crucial role in enhancing practical and professional competencies. Graduates of these programmes enjoy higher employment prospects due to their specialised, in-demand skills. A professional diploma is a valuable addition to any résumé, particularly in technical and creative fields.”
Mansoori extended her heartfelt congratulations to the graduates of the second batch of professional diploma students on their achievement and success, commending their dedication and perseverance throughout their studies.
She emphasised the exceptional quality of the students’ work, which was evident during the final project presentations.
She reaffirmed Pioneer Training Center’s commitment to delivering a comprehensive learning experience led by internationally certified trainers with extensive industry expertise.
She also announced plans to introduce additional professional diploma programmes tailored to the needs of the job market.
The ceremony concluded with the recognition of faculty members and trainers for their contributions, followed by the awarding of diplomas to graduates across six specialised fields: Leadership and Business Management, Human Resource Management, Networking and Cybersecurity, Graphic Design and Social Media Management, Interior Design, and Animation.
