Qatar’s Attorney-General HE Dr Ali bin Fetais al Marri and US Attorney-General William Barr discussed bilateral judicial cooperation between the two countries.
Dr Marri congratulated his American counterpart on his recent appointment as the US attorney-general, wishing him success in his duty and further constructive cooperation between the legal institutions in Qatar and the United States.
Dr Marri also met with Ambassador Nathan Sales, the State Department’s coordinator for Counterterrorism, and discussed a number of issues.
The Qatar’s attorney-general also met with US Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security James McMann and a number of his aides to review a number of issues of mutual interest.
Dr Marri also met with Director of the Counterterrorism Department of the US National Security Council Joe F.
During the meeting, the US official appreciated Qatar’s efforts in combating terrorism.
The meetings were attended by Qatar’s Ambassador to the United States HE Sheikh Mishaal bin Hamad al Thani.
