JEDDAH: Qatar has claimed two silver medals in the 27th GCC Men's Golf Championship, held at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club in Jeddah.
Qatar clinched the first silver medal in the team competition, while Daniil Sokolov finished second in the men's singles competition.
Qatar Golf Association's Assistant Secretary General Mohammed Ibrahim Al Mohannadi, who presides over the Qatari delegation to the tournament, praised the results achieved by the Qatari team and hailed the event as one of the strongest competitions in the region.
He added that QGA will continue to work to achieve more distinguished results during the upcoming events.
