World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka touched down in Doha late on
Sunday, ahead of the 2025 Qatar TotalEnergies Open. Sabalenka will headline a star-studded field featuring all top 10 players. The WTA 1000 event runs from February 9 to 15 at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, with a prize pool of $3,654,963. The Belarusian soon after her arrival at the Hamad International Airport, in a video message, said,”I have arrived in Doha, and I am happy to be here. See you guys (fans) soon!” Sabalenka recently missed out on her third Australian Open Grand Slam title losing in the final to Madison Keys of US 3-6, 6-2, 5-7.
