Samples sent to lab to determine fish deaths in Inland Sea

Fish samples have been sent to a laboratory to determine the cause of fish deaths in Khor Al Adaid, regionally known as the Inland Sea.

The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change on Tuesday said its Department of Natural Reserves took the samples after discovering numerous dead fish that had washed up on the shore.

The ministry noted that fish deaths in the region are typical during this time and occurs usually as a result of high sea temperatures.
