QNADohaMinister of Education and Higher Education HE Buthaina bint Ali Al Jabr Al Nuaimi unveiled a four-pronged strategy to develop the educational system in Qatar on Monday. It will be implemented over the next eight years as part of the Qatar Vision 2030. She also announced four initiatives for the academic year 2022-2023, based on the four axes.The first axis is to nurture students who aspire to be lifelong science students, the second is develop teachers as role models, the third is to turn schools into beacons of educational excellence and the fourth is to create centres that spur innovations and enhance capabilities. In her speech at the first educational meeting organized by the Ministry on Monday, the minister shed light into the new initiatives — “Good Start”, “My School is My Community”, “Towards Excellence” and “School Change Leaders”.The minister reiterated that these initiatives were designed under the leadership of experts and specialists in the ministry, and with the participation of representatives from the field, including teachers, school principals and students. She congratulated everyone on the start of the new academic year.
