Vrinda Verma, a Business Management student at MIE-Savitribai Phule Pune University in Doha, has claimed the coveted title of Miss Eclectic International 2024 at a glamorous Indo-Arabia beauty pageant organised by Urban Edge. Amidst stiff competition and dazzling displays of talent, Vrinda emerged victorious, showcasing not only her beauty but also her grace and poise on the runway.
The pageant, orchestrated by Hera Pinto and Lloyd Denzil, saw a distinguished panel of judges, including eminent personalities Kevin Oliver, Hanif Shaikh, Shama Vazid and Aziz Zee, deliberating over the contestants’ performances. From auditions across the GCC and various cities in India to the grand finale held in Dubai, the journey was a testament to the dedication and passion of all involved.
Vrinda’s journey to the crown was marked by her unwavering determination and talent. As an aspiring model, she has graced the ramp for renowned designers and brands, carving a niche for herself in the fashion industry. With modeling assignments for luxury brands under her belt, Vrinda’s win at Miss Eclectic International ‘24 is a testament to her hard work and dedication to her craft.
The grand finale, held at the Millennium Airport Hotel in Dubai, captivated audiences with its splendor and elegance. A rigourous four-day grooming session prepared the 12 finalists representing six GCC nations and India, including Vrinda, for their moment in the spotlight. Despite stiff competition, Vrinda’s youthful charm and confidence set her apart, earning her the admiration of judges and spectators alike.
Along with the prestigious crown, Vrinda was awarded a cash prize of AED6,000, a sash and a gift hamper, marking a significant milestone in her burgeoning career.
The event, graced by Yaqoob Ali, executive chairman of Al Ali Group of Companies, as the chief guest, was attended by notable NRIs James Mendonca and Joel Crasta as guests of honour. The diverse audience, comprising local dignitaries and industry professionals from the fashion and beauty sectors, bore witness to Vrinda’s crowning moment, celebrating her victory as a testament to talent and perseverance.
