Qatar Museums has announced its participation in the 33rd Doha International Book Fair (DIBF), being held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) from May 9 to 18, 2024.

This collaboration presents an exceptional opportunity for individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups to immerse themselves in the enriching areas of heritage, art and culture.

Qatar Museums’ presence at the 33rd DIBF is aimed at providing visitors with a dedicated space to explore a curated selection of new releases, award-winning publications and distinctive exhibition catalogues.

These resources delve into an array of topics, including modern and Islamic art, history, architecture, archaeology, orientalism and sports, in addition to a selection of beautifully illustrated children’s books.

Among the recently released titles showcased at Qatar Museums’ booth are: Fashioning an Empire: Textiles from Safavid Iran, Al Shaqab: The Legacy of Arabian Horses, Forever Valentino, and a wordless children’s story titled Desert, Sea and Sky: A Day in Qatar.

Moreover, Qatar Museums is excited to host the book launch event for Al Shaqab: The Legacy of Arabian Horses, offering attendees an exclusive insight into this captivating publication.
