DOHA: The Meteorology Department has issued a cautionary advisory regarding the weather conditions expected in the region on Wednesday. According to the department's daily weather report, residents can anticipate hot temperatures during the daytime accompanied by scattered clouds, with intermittent thundery rain and the possibility of slight dust storms in some areas.

The warning extends to both inshore and offshore regions. Inshore, thundery rain is expected until noon, followed by strong winds in the evening. Offshore, cloudy conditions will prevail with a chance of scattered rain, potentially thundery until midday. Later in the day, scattered clouds will dominate, accompanied by strong winds and rough seas.

Wind speeds are projected to be northwesterly inland, ranging from 10 to 20 knots, with gusts reaching up to 32 knots intermittently. Offshore wind patterns will vary between northwesterly and northeasterly, ranging from 8 to 18 knots, with gusts peaking at 28 knots by afternoon.

Visibility may be significantly reduced at times, with inshore visibility ranging from 5 to 10 kilometers or less, while offshore visibility is expected to be 4 to 8 kilometers or less during thundery rain episodes.

Sea conditions are forecasted to be moderate, with inshore waves ranging from 1 to 3 feet, increasing to 4 feet by afternoon. Offshore, wave heights will range from 2 to 5 feet initially, escalating to 9 feet by afternoon.

Residents and maritime operators are advised to exercise caution and stay updated on weather alerts as the day progresses, given the potential hazards posed by thundery rain and strong winds.
