Punarjani Qatar, a socio-cultural orgnisation associated with the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF), organised a free medical camp aimed at providing healthcare services to blue-collar and underprivileged workers in the Indian community, including housemaids, fishermen, and construction workers.

The initiative underscores Punarjani’s ongoing commitment to supporting the health and well-being of marginalised community members who often lack access to essential medical care.

More than 200 individuals from these vulnerable groups benefited from the medical camp, which offered critical medical tests such as ECG, blood sugar, cholesterol and various other screenings at no cost. Additionally, the camp featured special dental health check-ups for children and consultations in obstetrics and gynecology for women, addressing specific healthcare needs within these demographics.

The event commenced with a ribbon-cutting ceremony by Dr Vaibhav Tandale, First Secretary of the Embassy of India, who served as the chief guest.

Punarjani President Sushant Savardekar and his team, including Management Committee members Vaishali Suresh (General Secretary), Shridhar (Joint Secretary), Viswanathan (Coordinator), and MC members Dnyaneshwar Mathane, Vivek Chaturvedi, Sunil Bhandari, and Sandhya Kumari, welcomed the chief guest and other community leaders to the event.

The welcome speech was delivered by event anchors Neelambari Savardekar and Dnyaneshwar Mathane. During his presidential address, Sushant Savardekar briefed about Punarjani’s various social cause activities and the organisation’s future plans.

Several dignitaries graced the occasion, including ICBF President Shanawas Bava, Vice President Dipak Shetty, General Secretary K V Boban, ICC Vice President Subramanyam Hebbagelu, General Secretary Mohan Kumar, ISC President E P AbdulRahman, General Secretary Nihad Ali, IBPC Vice President Abdul Sattar, and senior community leaders Prasad Garu, Milan Arun, Bhullar, and more than 40 other eminent personalities of the Indian community.

Chief guest Dr Vaibhav Tandale appreciated Punarjani MC team for their selfless and relentless work towards the Indian community in Qatar and urged them to continue the same in the future.

Punarjani General Secretary Vaishali Suresh expressed gratitude towards Media partner ‘Radio Olive’ for covering the function, event support team ‘Insulation Engineering Company,’ and food support by ‘Royal Palace Restaurant.’ Additionally, the volunteers’ team and highly capable facility of Abeer Medical Center were felicitated by dignitaries on the occasion.
