Qatar Diplomatic Club recently hosted the prestigious Qatar Award for the Alliance of Civilization 2023, organised by the Qatar National Committee for Education & Culture and Sciences in cooperation with the Qatari Committee for the Alliance of Civilization at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Salwa Nooram Khan and Maha Naeem, talented students of Pakistan International School Qatar (PISQ), were recognised for their exceptional achievements in promoting intercultural dialogue. Under the guidance of their mentors, Mahjabeen Baloch and Ghulam Murtaza, they were selected as winners after a competitive selection process.

At the ceremony, Salwa Nooram Khan bagged the second position with a prize of QR6,000, while Maha Naeem took the fourth position with a prize of QR4,000. Their achievements were celebrated at the Qatar Diplomatic Club by esteemed guests and officials.

“Congratulations to Salwa Nooram Khan and Maha Naeem on their outstanding achievement! Their journey serves as a beacon of hope, reminding us that with determination and hard work, we can create a brighter future for ourselves and future generations,” a PISQ statement said.
