DOHA: In the presence of Minister of Environment and Climate Change (MoECC) HE Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Subaie, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change launched the first rounds of environmental meteorological monitoring, using the “Auto Gyro” helicopter, at Umm Shakhut Airport.
The minister was briefed on the modern capabilities of the “Auto Gyro” aircraft, and the addition it will bring to the Ministry’s efforts to protect the Qatari environment.
He also took the first tour of the aircraft, during which he inspected the surrounding land and sea areas, and saw up close the smart technologies that enable the environmental monitoring and accurate follow-up.
